A seasoned community investment leader with over 15 years of experience in corporate and nonprofit philanthropy, Robyn Small is the Senior Manager & Head of Philanthropy at TD. In this role, she leads the Canadian Philanthropy group and national strategies that reflect TD’s commitment to community engagement and social impact.

Robyn’s diverse background includes leadership in corporate citizenship, volunteerism, and nonprofit governance. Prior to her current role, she was a sales and consulting specialist at Benevity, advising global clients on social impact, ESG, and community investment. She also led large-scale corporate citizenship programs at BMO and TD Securities, expanding giving, volunteering, and grant-making initiatives across four countries. Earlier in her career, she managed several multi-million-dollar corporate fundraising portfolios at United Way Greater Toronto.

An active contributor to the sector, Robyn is a fundholder with the Toronto Foundation, a former member of the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s grant review team, and a frequent public speaker. She is a committed supporter of the arts and currently serves on the Board of Directors for STEPS Public Art, while also championing arts and culture organizations across Canada.

Born and raised in Scarborough, Robyn has a deep, personal connection to the region and its healthcare system. Inspired by the care her family and community have received from SHN hospitals, she is proud to support the Foundation’s mission and help strengthen healthcare in Scarborough.
