Our 3rd annual Tamil Radiothon presented by Canadian Tamil’s Chamber of Commerce (CTCC) and in partnership with EAST FM 102.7 Radio was a huge success!
Together, we raised $174,000 for Scarborough Hospitals!
The incredible show of support for our Scarborough hospitals from the Tamil community is truly amazing. Thank you to each of our sponsors and generous donors for making this event possible! Your dedication to Scarborough and commitment to helping shape the future of healthcare in our community is outstanding.
Proudly presented by the Canadian Tamils’ Chamber of Commerce (CTCC), the event went live-to-air on EAST FM 102.7. The all-day event invited listeners to hear unique stories from SHN patients, physicians, staff, community members and volunteers who inspired the community to help shape the future of health care in Scarborough by showing their support through donations.
Proceeds from the 3rd annual Tamil Radiothon will support SHN’s highest priorities, like the treatment and prevention of chronic kidney disease and diabetes and expanding cardiac care at our hospitals so that we can continue to provide exceptional quality care the community of Scarborough deserves.
We want to extend our gratitude to the Tamil Community in Scarborough and to our generous donors and supporters. The Tamil Radiothon was a success, thanks to you all!
